Due to the current circumstances, Catholic Arts made the decision to remove the live performance aspects of the 2020 Performing Arts Festival. Out of disappointment has come opportunity with students still being given the chance to perform in an online capacity. Performances of soloists, ensembles and groups will be filmed onsite at the College and submitted for adjudication and feedback to the Catholic Arts panel. This remains a wonderful learning and enrichment opportunity for our Performing Arts students.

The festival got underway this week with the completion of Vocal, String and Piano Solos and the finalised submissions of Christian Drama and Secondary Drama Production as well as the Junior Band. Students presented and performed beautifully with some incredible talent on display.
Next week will be abuzz with activity in the Arts as our three Middle and Senior School bands complete their performance/filming sessions and our dance troupes get underway. We have the added bonus of being able to film Christian Dance in our very own St Helena of the Holy Cross Church which we are looking forward to.
We are looking forward to a couple of busy weeks ahead with some amazing student talent!
