Saint Patrick’s Day

Dear God

We thank you for the life of Saint Patrick and for his unwavering faith in you.

May we also have the courage to stand firm in our beliefs and to live our lives in accordance with your will.

We ask that you bless our school community and guide us as we strive to make a positive impact in the world.

Amen.

Thank you to all of our students who participated in the fundraising event for Project Compassion by wearing Crazy Hats. Your contributions have made a significant impact, and we are proud of your enthusiasm and commitment towards such a worthy cause.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to Ms Carrara and the staff for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the smooth running of the ACC Swimming Carnival. We are proud of our students who participated and represented our school with such pride, finishing fourth overall. Well done to all students involved!

I am also pleased to report that the operation and organisation of the NAPLAN testing has been successful thus far. The Numeracy testing will be taking place next Monday and catch-up assessments will be held from Tuesday. We hope that all students have felt confident and prepared for these tests and encourage them to continue their hard work.

As we look ahead to next week, I would like to remind everyone that Tuesday is Harmony Day. This day provides an opportunity for us to celebrate and appreciate the diversity of our school community. We encourage all students to embrace the message of Harmony Day and to participate in the activities planned for the day.

Finally, on this St Patrick’s Day, let us take a moment to reflect on the virtues of Saint Patrick’s life – his courage, faith, and steadfastness in the face of adversity. Let us also remember the importance of our own faith and how it can guide us in our daily lives.

I wish you all a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Ms Julie Hornby
