ACC Inter-school Athletics Carnival, Senior Boys Win the Shield!

On Tuesday 8 September, 107 Holy Cross Middle and Senior School students attended the ACC Inter-school Athletics Carnival held at the WA Athletics Stadium in Floreat.

Congratulations to our Senior Boys (Years 10-12) who were awarded the Champion Shield for their age group category.

The students had been attending training session on both Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the weeks leading up to the carnival, allowing our athletes to be in peak condition for the event.  Overall, Holy Cross Cross finished 6th position, with our highlights of the day being our relay teams. Our relays boasted some outstanding performances, with smooth transitions and often being streaks ahead of the field. 

We would like to recognise the achievement of some of our students who were named in the Champion athletes for their age groups;

Riley Hardeman – U16 Boys Champion

Isabelle Chilman – U16 Girls Runner-up Champion 

Makayla Pugliese-Thompson – U16 Girls 3rd

Geraldine Tetteh – U13 Girls 3rd

Joshua Hardeman – U13 Boys equal 3rd
