Advent, Gratitude and Christmas Carols

The end of the year signifies the combination of dedication, persistence, collaboration, and hard work as we think about all that we have achieved. 

It is a time for reflecting on what has passed this year and the pathway ahead for 2022.

We prepare our students to make good choices in our changing and challenging society. Our community promotes justice, service, and connection. We take pride in the Pastoral care we provide our community, together with the partnership of our families. Thank you for your continued support and collaboration.

I thank all the College staff, – teaching, and non-teaching, administration, finance, education assistants, music tutors, facilities, and canteen staff, who work as strong teams in considering the best interests of all the students. Thank you for your time, perseverance, and dedication.

Gratitude Mass

Our Gratitude Mass, recognising the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, was celebrated this week. Thank you to Deputy – Faith, Mr Ben Bull, our readers and musicians that ensured the Mass was well organised and meaningful. Thank you to Fr Bona for his homily about the importance of Jesus’ birth and its connection to having ‘life to the full’.

Christmas Carols

Thank you to all of our Junior Staff for the preparation and class performances of the chosen carols. Parents, thank you for supporting the Friends of Holy Cross by ensuring your child was able to participate and for attending the event. Our grounds staff also spent a great deal of time marking the oval and setting up for the evening. Thank you.

End of Term Assembly

Congratulations to all our award winners and for those that were awarded special certificates in Maths and Science. Thank you to the Junior students and staff for the farewell to Mr Peter Collins. Well done to all of our students who demonstrated great respect during the extended Assembly.
