The season of Advent is upon us. Advent is the season of new beginnings. A new liturgical year begins this Sunday, and it is a season of great hope and joy. Week by week, candles are lit on the Advent wreath signifying our longing for the light of Christ, as the time of his birth draws near. This is the time when our saviour is born, and we have much to rejoice.
Year Six and Nine Transition Masses

Thank you to Ben Bull and staff involved with the organisation of the Transition Masses. It was lovely to see all the parents that attended. The Year Six students were well represented and both year levels received their Camino discs, reminding them of the journey they have been on and the journey yet to come. Thank you to Fr Bona who is instrumental in making the connections to our College faith stories, and our life and culture.
Sports Awards

Congratulations to Liam Smith, Marnie Barrett and the team for such a successful Sports Award morning Thank you to Cathie Lewis and our canteen staff who prepared such lovely refreshments. The event was organised so professionally, and we had hundreds of parents attend. We also acknowledged the students that are participating in high level sports outside of the College. Hopefully, some future Olympians! This event is a new initiative and will now become an annual event. Thank you.
School Vaccination Advice
The Department of Health has called for schools to share the following details in support of the State Government’s vaccination drive.
Parent/Guardians can visit healthywa.wa.gov.au to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment for their child if they:
- haven’t yet received a COVID-19 vaccination; or
- were unable to receive their second dose COVID-19 vaccination.
Please note that a second dose Pfizer vaccine should be delivered 3 to 6 weeks after the first dose. For further information on COVID-19 vaccination, visit Roll Up For WA.
There is a requirement of all students from Years 10-12 undertaking a VET Work Placement in a Group 1 or Group 2 Category to be fully vaccinated in accordance with the State Government mandate. Susan Wilson and Orile Ryan have further information if required.
Wishing all of our community a great weekend ahead.
