Transfiguration of the Lord

At the Transfiguration, Father, You showed Jesus in glory, a glimpse of what His disciples would see in His risen life.

Bless us in our humanity, with an awareness of Your presence, leading us to share in Your divine life, even in our daily struggle.

Help us to deepen our knowledge of the Law and the Prophets, channeling Your grace throughout history, and being a signpost for our journey.

Amen.

Thank you to Vice Principal, Mr Albert Borrello, for taking on the role of Principal, in my absence. The staff and students have been extremely busy beyond the classroom with preparation and organisation for Performing Arts, our ‘High School Musical’, Book Week, LIFE Week, and other learning opportunities such as camps and sporting events.   

Our Deputy – Faith, Mr Ben Bull, has gained the position of ‘Senior Team Leader of Religious Education Directorate’ at CEWA, and therefore will be leaving at the end of the year. Although this is a great loss for us, it is beneficial to our system. Ben has been outstanding in his Deputy role and will be greatly missed. Congratulations, Mr Bull.

Mrs Shelley Miller, Mr Chris Gooch, the Arts staff and many others have been working many extra hours in preparation for the performances of ‘High School Musical’ next week. Thank you to our dedicated students for your commitment and to our parents for your support with rehearsals. We look forward to opening night next Wednesday.

The support by teachers, students and their families for todays Book Week dress up is much appreciated. Thank you to Mrs Colleen Azzopardi for her incredible work in setting up the Learning Resource Centre. We are very fortunate to have such a passionate Library Administrator. Thank you to all that assisted.
