Carols by Candlelight, 11 December

The Friends of Holy Cross are hosting the annual Holy Cross College Carols by Candlelight event on Wednesday, 11 December.

Gates will open at 5:00 pm for a 6:00 pm start to the event. There will be food trucks along with stands selling song books, battery operated candles, glow sticks and raffle tickets.

The oval will be divided into three ‘seating zones’. The front section will be for picnic rugs only, the middle will be designated for LOW BACK picnic chairs with the full size picnic chairs behind them. Please follow these guidelines for the enjoyment of all in attendance.

Students in the Combined Choirs, Kindergarten, Pre-primary, Year One and Two are asked to be seated in their groups in the designated waiting area near the performance area by 6:00 pm. These students will return to their families after their performance.

Students in Years Three, Four, Five, Six, Chamber Choir and Junior Band will start the evening with their families until the intermission. They will then need to be seated in the designated waiting area by the end of the intermission and will return to their families after their performance.

A ‘special guest’ will be arriving toward the end of the evening to share some joy (and lollies!) with the children. We anticipate an approximate finish time of 8:00 pm for the event.

We encourage all families to dress up in festive attire and join in the singing to support the students on stage! We look forward to seeing you there.
