Catholic Arts Liturgy Performance

With this year’s Performing Arts Festival for Catholic Schools and Colleges taking on a virtual format this year, Holy Cross College students have demonstrated incredible resilience and passion for the Performing Arts throughout this term. A select group of Middle and Senior School Drama Students were privileged to be able to participate in what has been the only live event of this year’s festival last week.

A Liturgy of the Word to celebrate the conclusion of the festival and the gifts and talents of Arts students from Catholic Schools across Western Australia was held at St Mary’s Cathedral in Perth on Thursday 17 September. Holy Cross College Drama Students performed a dramatisation of the Universal Prayers which focused on a sense of connection across the globe during this time of great challenge. The students performed beautifully and reverently, representing the College with pride.

A full wrap of this year’s Festival will be included in this week’s end of term assembly and as a separate blog entry later this week.
