This week was another vibrant and busy week of performances from our arts students in the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival. The week kicked off with two beautiful liturgical dance performances from our Junior and Middle/Senior dancers at Mercy College. Led by Miss Georgina Pratt, the Junior School students were described as vibrant and uplifting and the Middle and Senior group as artistic and reverent. All our dancers are to be congratulated on performing with such skill and reverence and congratulations goes to Miss Pratt for her hard work and dedication.

On Wednesday, Mrs Kerri Sloper took a large number of students to Zenith Music for the Secondary Vocal Solo and Duet performances. The adjudicators were impressed by the talents and numbers from Holy Cross and all students sang with confidence, energy and did themselves and the College proud. Thank you to Mrs Sloper for her dedication and congratulations on the growth of the vocal program.

Finally this week, Friday evening saw our three College bands take to the stage at Corpus Christi College in the Contemporary Band section. The Junior Band set the tone with a dynamic performance, with Keenan Delauney receiving remarkable praise for stepping up to lead vocals last minute. The Intermediate Band followed soon after with an energetic and enthusiastic performance. Finally, the Senior Band rounded off the HCC entries with two rollicking tunes. All three bands were incredible ambassadors for the College Music Program and congratulations to Mr Dario Jiritano and Mr Jasper Miller for their hard work with these ensembles.
