Project Compassion

Lenten almsgiving continued this week for Project Compassion with Ozanam House hosting a Mystery Box prize competition. Students could purchase lock combinations in hopes of winning prizes. All proceeds go to Project Compassion. Thank you for your support.

Learning Conversations

Learning Conversations with families were held at the start of this week. It is important for students to take ownership of their learning journey and the feedback from staff has been very positive. Parents are the primary educators of their children. Together students, parents and teachers can communicate, collaborate, critical assess and help students make fresh goals and a pathway to achieve them, which is what makes Learning Conversations so important. Thank you for participating.

Interhouse Cross Country

Interhouse Cross Country will be held on Tuesday 5 April in the same format as 2020 with each year group coming down during a different period so as to comply with the current COVID restrictions and still give our students the Enrichment activity of sport. Students will embark on a 3klm run. Unfortunately parents are not yet allowed to attend, however the event will be hosted on Facebook Live so parents, family and friends can watch all the action and cheer their House on.

COVID Update:

The Western Australian Government have announced their intent to downgrade the COVID restrictions for schools commencing Term 2. A further update will be sent today to parents to give guidance to the new protocols.

The girls Winter Academic pant sample sizing kit is now available in the uniform shop. Students may try these on and order them. The girls Winter Academic shirt will be worn out and not tucked in, this is the same as with the girls Winter Academic skirt. They are available for purchase for $50 from Matrix Uniforms.

Students will need their Formal Winter Academic Uniform for College Photos which is:

Kindergarten to Year 4 :                Sports Tracksuit including Track Top Jacket and HCC Polo

Year 5 to Year 12 ALL Students:   Winter Jumper in good condition (no holes) and not faded.

            Boys: College tie

            Girls: College Tights

Next Week is the Final Week of Term 1

This is the final week of Term 1 and it will be very busy with Year Level Assemblies, Holy Week Liturgy and Interhouse Cross Country. Thank you for your patience and support with the quick changes this past term has given us. Our students and College community are happy, hopeful and faith filled as we head into our final week of Learning.
