It is with great joy that I welcome a new primary school to the family of St Helena’s of the Holy Cross Parish, Emmaus. The new Catholic Primary School, Emmaus, is hoping to open doors to students starting in 2022. With honour, I met with the Principals of Holy Cross College Ms Julie Hornby and the Principal of Emmaus Mr Sandro Coniglio. The students of Emmaus will have a beautiful road leading them to Holy Cross College for their high school years. Pilgrimage is a faith journey, so it seems fitting that both schools have this theme. Now the St Helena’s parish have three beautiful faith-filled Catholic schools: St Helena’s Catholic Primary School, Emmaus Catholic Primary School and Holy Cross College. Praise God.
