Currently many of our senior students have been participating in practical assessments and exams. I wish all of our students well in performing in his or her best possible way.
Our teachers are also very busy with marking and preparing reports to meet the required deadlines. Thank you, to our staff, for the extra hours that the process entails.
College Uniform
As an addition to our uniform items, we have introduced unisex long pants (girls slacks). Some of our students are already wearing them. The pants are available in the uniform shop for $50.00. Currently they are for secondary students, however, we hope to have supplies in next year for students in Years 5 and 6.
Attendance

We know that attending school every day progresses a child’s learning, which leads to better engagement and academic achievement. It also supports their wellbeing and improves their future life outcomes.
Attendance at commencement of the day impacts upon the rest of the day. Although most of our students attend school regularly, there is a number of children who do not and they are missing out on learning.
Developing the habit of going to school every day is vital so children do not miss out on important ideas and skills they need for future learning.
Did you know:
- missing half a day of school each week equates to one month of missed learning each year
- the attendance habits set by children when they first start school continue throughout their school life
- if children miss half a day of school each week between Pre-primary and Year 10, they would miss almost one full year of learning
- learning is cumulative – if children miss a day, it is harder for them to catch up.
You can help by arriving and collecting your children on time, making sure they get nutritious meals and enough sleep, and making holiday plans during school holidays and not during the school term.
