Harmony Day – Friday 20 March

Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural diversity. Holy Cross College is blessed with a rich heritage of different cultures from around the world. To celebrate this diversity, the staff and student Inter-relationship team are holding a multi-cultural festival on Friday 20 March 2020.

Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in Traditional Cultural Costumes for the day (i.e. Dashiki’s, Sari, Agbada). The College Standards for Uniform and Grooming on casual dress, jewellery and makeup will apply. Students who come to school in Traditional Cultural Costumes will need to take part in the parade at recess as a way to showcase their cultural heritage to the College community.

During the lunch break, a selection of food will be available for purchase from Japan, Italy, Mexico and Australia for students to enjoy. If you would like to pre-order any of the following items please complete the order form below, preferably utilising the QuickCliq system to pre-order.

We are looking forward to everyone’s involvement in making Harmony Day a great celebration of our cultural diversity!

Regards,

Mrs Christina Davini
