Crazy Sock Day for Project Compassion

Students and staff who wore their crazy socks on Friday also brought in a gold coin donation for Project Compassion as part of our Lenten support for almsgiving.
Harmony Week
Holy Cross College is blessed with a rich heritage of different cultures from around the world. To celebrate this diversity, the staff and student Inter-relationship team are holding a multi-cultural festival on Monday 21 March 2022.
As a way of showing support for Harmony Day, lunch activities have been organised and students are encouraged to come to school dressed in traditional cultural costumes for the day (i.e. Dashiki’s, Sari, Agbada). They may also wear a traditional cultural top with College sports shorts and shoes.
During the lunch break, a selection of food will be available for purchase from a range of countries for students to enjoy. If you would like any of the following items, please pre-order from the College Café. Alternatively, please utilise the QuickCliq system to pre-order items by Monday 21 March.
COVID Reporting
Please do not underestimate the importance of informing us of a positive COVID case and/or if your child is deemed a Close Contact. Your actions will ensure the risk to others is minimised and that we do our very best to limit the spread of the virus across our community. Our community has been excellent in their response times thus far, resulting in minimal cases overall.
To support our planning for your child’s classroom attendance, please continue to notify Holy Cross College if your child returns a negative PCR/ RAT result, after:
- being identified as a close contact (Day 1 test to return to school as an asymptomatic close contact), and/or
- being identified as a household close contact (Day 7 test to conclude quarantine).
Parents and caregivers can inform the school of their child’s positive or negative COVID result and /or close contact information via this LINK. The information will go directly to the Principal, prompting our COVID response.
The link is also available on our Holy Cross College website: https://www.holycross.wa.edu.au/
Thank you.
