Italian Students Enjoy ‘The Divine Comedy’

Year 12 Italian students and students of Italian had a very special excursion to the Dante Alighieri Presentation. It was a very interesting presentation on a very challenging topic: “The Divine Comedy” written by Dante Alighieri in the 1200 in Italy. Dante is known as “the Father of the Italian language” and The Divine Comedy is one of the greatest masterpieces ever written. Holy Cross students enjoyed the experience delivered from Professor John Kinder from UWA.

As a teacher of Italian, it was my great pleasure to give these students the opportunity to become familiar with the ideology and faith of this antique and modern Italian artist. This special event adds to the cultural experiences that builds and enhances the study of the Italian language.
