Kindergarten

Wow! What a sensational Autumn Term we have had in Kindergarten.

We have loved exploring our Big Ideas question ‘What does happiness taste like?’ This started by learning about our five senses. Our first activity was to guess the mystery smell inside some glass jars. Safe to say by our faces that some things did not smell amazing. We continued exploring our senses by going on a bear hunt outside walking through mud, water, rice and grass! Last week we started exploring feelings by painting some things that make us happy. We are all so unique and different creating happiness paintings of Mum’s hugs, rainbows and animals. This week we have started creating happy faces using a range of different materials. We can not wait to finish our Big Ideas this term and share all the wonderful ideas the Kindergarten students have on ‘What does happiness taste like?’
