Learning Conversations: Middle School and Senior School


Learning Conversations are an important opportunity for students to reflect on their learning and plan for their growth. Learning Conversations will take place in Week Eight for Senior School students and Week Ten for Middle School students and participation in the Conversations is required. Semester One reports will be published on the day of your child’s Learning Conversations. Please note that reports are published on Parent Coneqt and you will need your Parent Coneqt login details to access your child’s report at the Learning Conversations.

Learning Conversations will be with your child’s subject teachers and will be of 10 minutes duration. You are asked to please restrict yourself to this time, should the conversation need to continue past this time another appointment with the staff member should then be arranged. It is not compulsory to make appointments for all subjects except where indicated on the PTO booking page. This will be indicated by an exclamation point under the subject name. Year Twelve Parents are strongly encouraged to make appointments for all their courses. 

All Learning Conversations will take place via Microsoft Teams as an online video conference. Further instructions to follow.

Learning Conversations will take place as follows:

WEEK EIGHT – SENIOR SCHOOL WEEK TEN – MIDDLE SCHOOL
Date: Thursday 18 June
Time: 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm
All students in Year Seven to Twelve will be dismissed at 12:00 pm on this day
Date: Thursday 2 July
Time: 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm
All students in Year Seven to Twelve will be dismissed at 12:00 pm on this day

BOOKING LEARNING CONVERSATIONS

The internet-based booking system, Parent Teacher On-Line (PTO) is to be used to make appointments for the Learning Conversations. Using this system on any internet-connected computer, you can select interview times that best suit your needs. 

You can access the system either via the internet or the PTO App.
