Dear Lord
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude and humility, as we gather to give thanks for the blessings of LIFE Week and the incredible journey it has been. In the spirit of Oscar Romero, we lift our voices in praise for the dedication and love shown by our school staff, who have tirelessly guided and nurtured our K-12 students throughout the week of incursions and excursions.
Lord, we thank you for the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow in the world that you have created. We are grateful for the wisdom and passion that the school staff have shared, igniting curiosity and inspiring a hunger for knowledge within each young heart. Like Romero, who championed justice and equality, we recognise the importance of empowering our students to become compassionate and responsible individuals. Bless our HCC staff, students, parents and all those who have contributed to the success of this special week. May they continue to find joy and fulfilment in being a part of such a wonderful community.
Amen

Thank you to our Learning Area Leader (HASS), Karen Taylor and Year 12 History students who spent ‘Catholic Day’ making and decorating cakes to capture people and events from history. The staff enjoyed a sample or two!

Thank you to Music Teacher, Kerri Sloper, who has worked many weekends and nights rehearsing and conducting for the Catholic Performing Arts Festival. Thank you to our parents who have supported our students in participating in the event and for providing transportation where required.

Thank you to Dance teacher, Georgina Pratt, staff, parents and students for the work that has been put into the rehearsals and organisation of the Dance Showcase next week. We are looking forward to it!

Ms Julie Hornby
