Our Year 1 and Year 2 students have enjoyed writing about Mr Borello’s Crazy Day! The students watched a video where Mr Borello was leaving the College at the end of his work day, only to find a large amount of animals from the Perth Zoo right here on our College Boulevard!

Students in Year 1 enjoyed discussing the events and creating a story map together. They then wrote about the different events, using newly learnt sentence writing skills.

The students in Year 2 first retold the events using the Keynote app. Students animated various elements of the story and worked in pairs to complete the final product. Students in Year 2 will use their animations to guide their writing this week.
