Check out this new app developed in WA through the Telethon institute. It is an evidence based cybersafety tips and information app for parents. It has a ‘browse’ section where families can find info about current websites/apps/games that kids use, a ‘how to make an agreement’ section for digital devices in the home, and is free because it was funded by Telethon and BankWest!

It’s actually the first Australian app of its kind, and gives notifications when things pop up (for example, trending incidents or an issue online) to inform parents at the time how to have conversations with their children and how to seek help if they need it.

I would highly recommend downloading this app, and having it handy for when you need to have those ‘cyber’ discussions with your kids.
