It is with great excitement and humility that Holy Cross College is proud to announce that the 2021 College Production of Oliver Twist has been nominated for two Independent Theatre Association Finley Awards. These awards celebrate the best in Western Australian Community Theatre in both Youth and Adult categories.
Holy Cross’ Production of Oliver Twist featured students from Years One to Twelve in performance and production roles and was described by Finely Adjudicators as possessing ‘amazing energy’ and ‘a wonderful opportunity to see so many students involved on and off stage’.
The production has been nominated for The Ailsa Travers Award for Best Youth Production alongside shows from Stirling Players, Primadonna Productions and Bel Canto Performing Arts and The Brian Maddocks Award for Best Youth in a Play for Therese Topliss (Year 10) who portrayed Nancy.

The awards will be held on January 15th at Newman College and we can’t wait to have staff and student representatives from Holy Cross College in attendance!
