Orientation Day and Parent Information Sessions for 2020


Orientation sessions will be conducted on Wednesday 20 November and Friday 22 November.

The following is a summary of the sessions on these days for the 2020 cohorts:

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

There will be a compulsory parent information session on Wednesday 20 November from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm in the Tui Building. It is not necessary for students to attend.

KINDERGARTEN

Parents must attend one of two sessions on Wednesday 20 November – 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm (locations as signposted at the College). This includes parents who already have children at the College as information varies from year to year.

Parents and students are asked to attend an orientation session on Friday 22 November from 9:00 am – 11:00 am in the Tui building. Children will spend time in the classroom engaging in activities which will hopefully make their transition to school a positive experience.

NEW PRE-PRIMARY TO YEAR SIX

Students new to the College will participate in an Orientation Session on Wednesday 20 November from 8:45 am – 12:00 pm. Student leaders will welcome the students in administration. Please ensure that students attend the day in their current school sports uniform.

Parents must attend one of two sessions on Wednesday 20 November – 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm (locations as signposted at the College).

All Junior school students will spend the morning participating in team building and transition activities in their 2020 groupings.

YEAR SEVEN

An orientation session for all students in Year Seven will take place on Wednesday 20 November from 8:45 am – 2:30 pm. Students will participate in various activities during the day which aim to make the transition from Junior/Primary School to Middle School a positive experience. Students will be required to wear their current school’s sports uniform on the day and to bring a hat.

Parents must attend one of two sessions on Wednesday 20 November – 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm (locations as signposted at the College).

YEAR EIGHT TO TWELVE

Parents/Guardians of students new to the College in Years Eight to Twelve for 2020 must attend one of two sessions on Wednesday 20 November – 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm (locations as signposted at the College).

NB: The Orientation Session for these students will be held on Monday 3 February, 2020.
