Plenty of talent was on display from Holy Cross College students in Week Four as the halfway mark of the 2019 Performing Arts Festival for Catholic Schools and Colleges was reached. This week saw the sections of Primary Vocal Solo and Christian Drama take place.
On Monday 12 August, it was our Junior School students who shone in the Primary Vocal Solo section held at Zenith Music. Congratulations to Year Five student Tatem De Coppi and Year Six students Johan Cairo and Isabel Davies for overcoming their nerves and producing some beautiful performances. Big thank you once again to Mrs Kerri Sloper for her wonderful accompaniment skills.

On Wednesday 14 August, a talented group of Middle and Senior School Drama students travelled to Mercy College to perform ‘Dom Salvado: A Pilgrimage’ as part the Christian Drama category. A section in which Holy Cross College has enjoyed great success in the past, these students produced another stunning performance. They portrayed the moving story of Dom Salvado’s arrival in Australia and the establishment of New Norcia as well as the meaning of Holy Cross’ connection to pilgrimage. Many thanks to Mr Ben Bull for his support at this event.
