The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, is one of our well recognised days of penance and devotion. The heart of Jesus Christ represents his divine love for humanity. The heart is seen as the centre of the person. It is a time to reflect on His divine love, His burning love and His sensible love.
Physical Education

There have been many sporting events this term including ACC Athletics training, lighting carnivals, lunch time activities, NEAS sports – netball and soccer, and CPSSA cross country. All of these events take time out of school hours. Thank you to our parents for supporting the events and the students for their motivation to be involved. Thank you to our Sports Coordinator, Marnie Barrett, Learning Area Leader – Liam Smith and the HPE team, for the organisation, planning and positive teamwork.
To finish off the term we will have our Inter-House Athletics day, for years 7-12 next Tuesday. Parents are welcome to watch the event here on the College Oval or via Facebook LIVE.
NAIDOC Week

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
We will be holding our celebrations next week, commencing with our NATSI Mass on Monday at 9am in LIMA. Various activities will take place throughout the week. The College Cafe will feature a special NAIDOC Week menu of Indigenous inspired recipes. Online ordering is available.

PK-12 MyLIFE Expo – Wednesday 27 July SAVE THE DATE!

All of our families and the wider community are invited to our MyLIFE Expo in the Lima Sports Centre. Many exhibitors will be available to help with career choices and to also have our Junior school students involved in thinking about what they’d like to do or be, when they grow up.
Come and join in with the activities, raffle and view the displays. Refreshments will be available, as well as a Parish sausage sizzle, and coffee van. This is a wonderful opportunity for our whole community to come together at last! I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at the event.

LifeLink Sleepout
Please support the College with the LifeLink Sleepout, which takes place next Thursday. There are various ways of being involved. Please click below to find out more.
LifeLink Sleepout Registration Form
As well as the financial support the College provides to the LifeLink Agencies through this fundraiser, we also seek to assist by providing donations of food and clothing.
Donation baskets will be in HTGs and Junior School Classrooms for the remainder of the Term.
We are especially in need of:
- Boys and Girls Teen/Young Adult (Year 7 – 12) clothing to assist the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Passages Youth Engagement Hub.
- Non-perishable food items (no expired or opened items please) assisting The Shopfront to provide groceries and meals to many who are experiencing social and economic hardship throughout Perth.
Please give generously.
Have a lovely weekend.
