The rehearsal process is well underway for the 2020 College Production ‘Oliver Twist’ and we have enjoyed a fantastic term so far with students getting to grips with their characters. For many of the cast members, it is their first experience of this classic story and the work of Charles Dickens. The characters are iconic and the Middle and Senior School students are relishing the chance to play pickpockets, thieves, street kids and young gentlemen and ladies.
Over the next several weeks, the Junior School cast members will join the cast, playing townspeople, workhouse children and Fagin’s boys. We are excited as to the talents they will bring to this diverse cast.
In Week 9, students will travel to the Benedictine Community of New Norcia for the 2020 Production Camp and will look forward to three days of intensive workshopping, character work and team building where they will work as a whole Year Five to Twelve Cast.
