Last weekend a number of students attended the Enrolment Masses for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Preparation for sacraments is family-focused, parish-based and Catholic school supported. During the year students will prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.
STAFF PROFESSIONAL LEARNING DAY
Friday 2 March was a Professional Learning Day for teachers. Staff worked on our Vision for Learning and Student Engagement, which are part of our Strategic Plan. Thanks to students in Junior School and Senior School student leaders for their input into this day. Some Junior School students have explained what they think the world will look like in the future and Senior School students have explored qualities they would like to have as a graduate of Holy Cross.
SWIMMING CARNIVAL
There was a great spirit of participation at the Years 4 – 7 Swimming Carnival on 23 February. Thanks to Mr James Parsons and the Physical Education Team for their work in organising this event and to all staff for their assistance. Thanks also to parents who attended. This was a real community event.
