The Principal’s Cup competition 2 was played today, this time, netball staff against the Year 12s. Both teams were energetic with a full list of players keen to get on the court. Play started fast and furious as the crowd of spectators cheering could be heard outside, drawing more and more people in to watch. First goal went to the Teachers and that’s how the rest of the game continued. The Teachers scored again and again and again despite our athletic Year 12s trying to make them work for it. Every turnover and forced play in favour of the Students made the crowd roar! The scoreboard does not reflect how much fun the game was to watch, but all the players certainly had a great time.
The first Principal’s Cup competition was swimming…the Teachers won. So the current points tally is 2 Teachers, 0 Students, but watch this space. I think the Students are about to start a winning streak.
Have a wonderful weekend.
