Senior School Exams

Senior School students should now be well into putting preparations in place for the upcoming exam period. Students can find study tips and other helpful information in their LAG Google Community. Exam schedules have been Direct Messaged to students and parents.

Year Ten Students:

On exam days (Autumn Term Friday Week Three – Thursday Week Four) students only need to attend school for their exams in the morning, they will then be dismissed for home study. However, students who are not up to date with their course work will be required to stay at school and complete unfinished work. If a student is not cleared for home study, parents will be advised via SMS on Wednesday afternoon of Week Three. All Year Ten students are required to attend the Careers excursion and Camino pilgrimage as indicated on the exam schedule.

Year Eleven & Twelve Students:

On exam days (Autumn Term Monday Week Three – Friday Week Four) students only need to attend school for their exams or EST (SCSA – Externally Set Task) assessments as indicated in the exam schedule. However, students who are not up to date with their course work will be required to stay at school and complete unfinished work. If a student is not cleared for home study, parents will be advised via SMS on Friday afternoon of Week two.

Year 11 General students will also be required to attend on either the Tuesday or Thursday of Week Three for an English assessment. The date and time for this to take place will be issued by the student’s English teacher.

Year Eleven & Twelve students who have TAFE or work experience on a Thursday or Friday are still expected to attend their EST assessment as indicated on the schedule.
