Week Five has seen another busy week of Performing Arts activities as part of the 2020 Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival which is taking place digitally this year. The Junior School Choir did themselves and the school proud with a spirited performance for the Primary Sacred Choral section on Wednesday. They performed the reflective ‘When You Believe’ and the uplifting ‘We Are The Young’.
Last week saw the commencement of filming for the short one act play ‘A Unlikely Story’ which has been originally scripted by Year Nine students Therese Topliss and Bertie Turrell-Knight. This week, filming wrapped on the short drama which was brilliantly executed by Year Eight, Nine and Ten students. We hope to premiere this one act play later this year.

Week Five marks the end of Holy Cross College’s filming sessions for the Festival however a small group of students will travel to St Mary’s Cathedral in Week Eight to participate in a Christian Drama as part of the Festival’s Liturgy of the Word. This will conclude what has been another very successful, albeit different looking festival.
