The College wishes Larissa Murdzoski, our Visual Arts teacher, all the very best as she prepares for the birth of her first child! What an exciting time. We have been fortunate to have Larissa Murdzoski as part of our HCC community. You will be missed.
Josie Wise will begin at the College during Week 10 of Term Two. Josie Wise comes with a wealth of experience and is excited to be joining our team. I am sure all members of our community will make her feel welcome when you see her around the College.

My LIFE Expo – Wednesday July 27th, Week 2 Term 3
Not long now until our 2022 My LIFE Expo. Staff involved have been busy preparing for what should be a wonderful evening. All HCC families are welcome to attend. Last year’s Expo was a huge success with numbers exceeding our expectations. We look forward to an even bigger and better expo in 2022. Stay tuned for more information!
Social Justice Immersion

A big congratulations to all the staff and students involved in this week’s Social Justice Immersion. The feedback from students, parents and staff has been amazing. Our students represented the College with a great deal of pride and empathy as they engaged with the social issues that exist within our community. A lot of time and effort goes into the preparation of the immersion and it was wonderful to hear that all the planning and hard work has paid off. Thanks to Daniel Bateman, Daniel Gevaux, Ben Bull, Cassandra Bull, Christina Davini and Carolyn Jess who gave up so much of their own time to support the students.
Enrolments
The College is now interviewing prospective students for Year 7 2024 and 2025. We have only a limited number of places available for our 2023 Year 7 cohort. Applications are available online or can be collected from the Student Administration. It is a testament to the outstanding work of staff and students that our enrolments continue to rapidly grow.
Exams
Please keep our Year 11 and 12 students in your prayers as they begin their Semester One Exams. This can be a time of stress and anxiety for our students as they strive to achieve their personal best. We will continue to support the pastoral and academic needs of our students in their endeavours and welcome feedback from parents if we can be of more assistance to families during this busy period of the year.
God Bless.
