Study stress during COVID-19 – tips for parents


With school exams commencing this week – particularly Year 12 exams – things may be very stressful at home for parents and their teenagers. Of course, COVID-19 continues to contribute to this stress, as everyone faces huge changes around daily routine and family life and across learning and study.

At this important time in their lives, teenagers need your guidance, compassion, understanding and support more than ever. The Parent Reachout.com and Headspace websites are filled with great tips and tools for parents to help support their teenage manage exam and study stress. There are articles about common concerns such as how to recognise signs of stress, how to deal with distractions, developing a routine, as well as managing your own wellbeing.
