The Terrible Fate of Humpty Dumpty

Poster Design by Mya Ubalde (Year 12)

With our Senior School students enjoying a highly successful Senior Production at the end of last term with ‘Hotel Sorrento’, our attention now turns to our Middle and Senior School students who will be performing the One Act Play, ‘The Terrible Fate of Humpty Dumpty’ for the College community in Week Four of Winter Term.

The short play follows a boy called Terry Dumpton who is nicknamed Humpty Dumpty.  He is bullied in his new school by a gang lead by cruel and cunning Stubbs.  Terry’s only friend Sammy, is a coward who can’t stand up for himself.  As the bullying gets worse, Terry begins to play truant which worries and annoys his working-class parents, but they are powerless in the end.

Tickets for the Middle and Senior One Act Play go on sale on Wednesday 24 July at www.trybooking.com/523668 and are just $5 each. The one off performance will take place on Tuesday 13 August at 5:00pm in the New Norcia building. We are looking forward to what is set to be a powerful performances which tackles the relevant issue of bullying and its consequences.
