Year Ten students enrolled in Italian went to the UWA for the 2019 UWA Language for My Future Forum. It was open for Year 10 students only and it gave them the opportunity to listen to information about learning language in schools and Universities. Current UWA students were also amongst the panel to share their experiences and answer questions from the audience. Our students really enjoyed this experience and were able to talk with Mr Eros Scagnetti from UWA who was one of the presenters.

Afterwards the students enjoyed an Italian lunch and showed their knowledge of the language to order food and to discuss cultural aspects of Italy.

On the last week of the Term we were also fortunate to have Mr. Scagnetti visit our College and present to our Year Eight, Nine and Ten Italian students about the benefits of learning a second language and the cultural aspects of a different country.
