On Tuesday, April 2, award winning musicians Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse performed a special Aboriginal Concert and Workshop for the Junior School students.

Gina and Guy spoke about the importance of keeping Noongar language and culture alive as less than 400 people currently speak Noongar in the world! The students learnt ‘Wanjoo’ (The Welcome Song) and joined in with a number of other songs in Noongar and English.

It was a spine-tingling assembly and is definitely one that will be remembered for years to come at Holy Cross College.
