Year 10 River Cruise

The Year 10 River Cruise aboard The Crystal Swan on the evening of Friday 28th April 2023 was a night to remember. Students and teachers alike boarded the vessel ready for an evening of fun, music, and relaxation.

As the boat cruised down the river, students were treated to stunning views of the city skyline and the tranquil waters of the Swan River. Many photos were taken with the sunset and twinkling city in the background. This event was eagerly anticipated and an opportunity for students to dress up a little and socialize with their peers and teachers. Many thanks to Ms Davini, Mr Bull, Mr Spencer, Ms Taylor, Ms Knoblauch, Ms Strong and Ms Wincott-Whyte who attended the event in support of the students.

Throughout the evening, the DJ played popular songs and the students danced the night away, on the dance floor, on the balcony, on the landing – they danced everywhere and had a great time. The Fork and Walk menu of mini sliders, fish and chips, mini desserts and soft drinks was a new experience for the Year 10’s and was enjoyed by all.

Not only was the River Cruise a fun social event, but it also provided an opportunity for students to develop important life skills such as teamwork, communication, and socialisation. These skills will be valuable for their future academic and personal success.
