Students in Year 2 have been enjoying learning about forces in their Design and Technologies lessons. Students have been working both collaboratively and independently to create their own paper aeroplanes, with a little help from Youtube.

Students enjoyed flying their aeroplanes outside in the sunshine and took the opportunity to reflect on the success of their paper aeroplane using a simple criteria via the Seesaw app. Some students explained that the wings of their paper aeroplanes created too much drag and decided that in future, they would opt for smaller wings.

The Year 2s are looking forward to exploring forces further and creating other toys and objects that require force to move.
