Year 7 Orientation Day

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Year 7, 2023 incoming students for an Orientation Day. The day commenced with students finding out their selected Houses through a Harry Potter Sorting Hat game. The students, very much, enjoyed this initial experience.

The enthusiastic students had the opportunity to experience life at Holy Cross College and we are certain that they enjoyed their time at our College. 

The 2023 Year 7 students enjoyed a range of activities throughout the course of the day: cooking, performing arts, science experiments, arts, sports activities and a transition activity to get them to know their way around the College.

Our new Year 7 parents were also welcomed. Parents attended the information sessions given them a little insight to what to expect in the coming year.

We confident that any anxiousness associated with commencing secondary school has now been converted to excitement and we look forward to welcoming back these students next year. 

Thank you to Miss Georgina Pratt (Year 7, Inter-relationships Leader), Mrs Alyse Birch, Mrs Vanessa Howe, House Representatives and to the staff who assisted with the all the activities.

We look forward to having our 2023 Year 7 students next year.
