Year 11 Dinner Dance

On Friday 19 August, Year 11 students, members of the College Leadership Team key Year 11 teachers came together to celebrate the Year 11 Dinner Dance at the Hillarys Yatch Club. It was a memorable night for so many different reasons. Hillarys Yatch Club provided the ideal setting with a beautiful Terrace, overlooking the amazing Harbour. Students enjoyed a sit-down buffet dinner that was followed by an endless supply of delicious desserts. The DJ had everyone showing their moves on the dance floor and it was great to see everyone all “glammed up”.

Events of this type build a sense of connection amongst the students and allow them to connect with one another outside of the regular school environment. It helps to build positive relationships and support their overall wellbeing in providing moments of fun and joy.

A big thank you to everyone involved for a fantastic night. I would like to acknowledge the considerable efforts of Year 11 Inter-relationships Leader, Mrs Fiona de Courcier, along with the student Dinner Dance committee who helped organise the theme for the evening and assisted in making and decorating all the table centre pieces and the venue.
