Year Five Camino Walk

It was a privilege to complete a section of the Bibbulmun Track from the  Northern Terminus to the Camel Farm. We saw lots of wildlife, such as three big kangaroos, black cockatoos and lots of big trees. There was so much to see and many beautiful views as we walked the 9kms along the track.  We had to follow the Waugals which were not always easy to see as we were too busy chatting with our friends! We walked over rocks, branches, little streams and hills. After lunch, Ms McMahon asked us all to walk in silence for 30 minutes to have an opportunity to observe the wildlife and think about how lucky we were to walk the track. We really enjoyed the day, especially the challenging parts of walking in silence and getting up the hills. As we finished the day at the Camel farm, we were proud of what we had achieved and took a group shot to celebrate. We can’t wait until we are in Year Six when we get another chance to walk the Bibbulmun Track.
