On Wednesday 4 December the Year Six students participated in a Transition Mass at the St Helena of the Holy Cross Church. This signified their transition from Junior to Middle School. The Mass was centered around the journey of the Year Six patron Sister Irene McCormack who left her comfortable existence here in Western Australia to work with the poor people in Peru, not knowing what lay in front of her. The Year Six students were presented with a Middle School Survival Kit from the Year Five students and welcomed into Middle School by representatives from Year Seven. This waymarker in their journey here at Holy Cross College, was further celebrated with parents and families at a Morning Tea provided by the Year Five students.
