Year Ten Margaret River Camp

The culmination of the Year Ten Outdoor Education course came to a head last week as students put their new found skills to use in Margaret River. Students camped for Three nights at Conto’s Campgrounds through a mixture of rainy and windy conditions. They were assessed on their use of school trangias, their tenting skills and their abseiling and caving experiences. All students challenged themselves in some way, shape or form whether it was abseiling 40 metres into Brides Cave, taking on the confined spaces of Giants cave or learning to live with the non existence of showers and phone usage.

It was great experience for many who were yet to experience a camping trip and they should be proud of what they have been able to achieve throughout this years course.
