Year Twelve students have finished their formal classes and today celebrated with a Graduation breakfast and Graduation Assembly. A highlight of the day was the Grand Parade – the Year 12 students processed out of the College through a guard of honour formed by all students from Years Pre-primary to Year Eleven. It is a special ritual and an opportunity for all students to wish the Graduates well for the journey ahead. Students studying ATAR subjects will commence their final school examinations during the school holidays. Practical ATAR examinations will be held during the first week of the holidays. Please keep these students in your prayers during this important time.
The Graduation Mass will be held on 17 October and the students will be presented with their Graduation certificates at Annual Celebration Night.

COLLEGE FEAST DAY FAIR

The last day of term was full of activity with the Feast Day Fair being held after the Graduation Assembly. Students and staff hosted a variety of stalls and activities to raise money for our House projects. It was a lovely way to finish off a busy term.
Classes resume on Monday 14 October.
ARTS SHOWCASE

The Arts Showcase, held on Monday evening, included music, dance, drama and media performances. There was also a wonderful display of artwork, photography and woodwork. It was a real celebration of the Arts at Holy Cross College. Thanks to all staff and students who contributed to this wonderful event.

STAFF
Today we farewelled two staff members who have worked at Holy Cross College on short term contracts this year. Mr Joshua Bowen has taught Physical Education and Mathematics since the commencement of 2019 and Mr Augustin Lobet has worked in the area of Media while Mr Chris Gooch has been on long service leave. I thank them both for their commitment to the College during their time here and wish them well for the future.
