By offering scholarships, we aim to create an environment where promising minds can flourish, enabling students to access an enriching education and contribute positively to society.
LIFE Scholarships (Year 7 students only)
The LIFE Scholarships are offered to students who showcase exceptional dedication to the College Mission. Four LIFE Scholarships are available for students commencing Year 7 at Holy Cross College, each aligned with one of the LIFE Pillars: Learning, Inter-relationships, Faith and Enrichment. These scholarships aim to recognise the applicant’s contributions to the values of their respective LIFE Pillar, by fully covering their Year 7 tuition fees. To apply, students should provide details of their achievements and initiatives related to the specific LIFE Scholarship for which they are applying.
Learning Enrichment Bursary
The Learning Enrichment Bursary seeks to support a family with a student benefiting from the Learning Enrichment Team’s guidance throughout their educational journey at the College, regardless of the year level. The bursary’s value covers the Tuition Fees for the specified year. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic faith and traditions.
Brother Pat Kelly Academic Scholarship (Years 7 to 9)
The Brother Pat Kelly Academic Scholarship offers an exceptional opportunity for students entering Years 7 to 9 in 2025. Students are required to undertake the Scholarship Selection Test (SST) to apply for this scholarship, with tests Scholarship Selection Test (SST) will be administered by the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER), directly at the College.
Registration to take the test must be completed online through the ACER website. A payment is required upon registration.
Applications for enrolment Year 7 2025 are now open. Registration Closes on 28 March 2024. The Scholarship Test will be held on 10 May 2024.
Mother Ursula Frayne Academic Scholarship (Years 10 to 12)
The Mother Ursula Frayne Academic Scholarship offers an exceptional opportunity for students entering Years 10 to 12 in 2025. Students are required to undertake the Scholarship Selection Test (SST) to apply for this scholarship, with tests administered by the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER), directly at the College.
Registration to take the test must be completed online through the ACER website. A payment is required upon registration.
Applications for enrolment Year 10 2025 will open on 31 May 2024 with Registration closing on 26 July. The Scholarship Test will be held on 9 August 2024.
Yarndi Bursary Scholarship
The Yarndi Bursary recognises excellence in academics, citizenship, leadership and a dedication to education. This bursary covers the entirety of a child’s education at either Junior School or Senior School at Holy Cross, spanning from Kindergarten to Year 6, or Year 7 to Year 12
Applications are welcomed from Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander families. Please note, due to the substantial financial commitment associated with this initiative, the College Advisory Council has outlined specific conditions that recipients must adhere to in order to uphold the bursary. Please read the requirements as outlined in the application prior to submission.
