We are delighted that you are considering becoming part of the Holy Cross College community. We are happy to accept enrolment applications at any time for all year levels; however, our major intake years are Kindergarten and Year Seven. Enrolment interviews for Kindergarten take place in the year prior to the student starting school. If the student is entering Pre-kindergarten, the Kindergarten interview may take place at the same time; however, acceptance into Pre-kindergarten does not guarantee a place in Kindergarten. Once a student is enrolled in Kindergarten, they will begin their journey through Junior, Middle and Senior Schools. Enrolment interviews for places in Year 7 take place when the students are in Year 5.

To further the College’s commitment to our Aboriginal heritage the College Board has made provision for the Yarndi Bursary to support the aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who seek a Catholic education where each student is challenged to achieve their personal best. The Bursary aims to recognise academic excellence, sound citizenship, strong leadership and a commitment to schooling. With a Catholic education at Holy Cross College, the College Advisory Council hopes to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with a springboard into a rewarding and successful career along with a solid foundation for making positive life choices.
Each year applications are invited from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who have a passion for learning and life, and who aspire to make a difference within their local community, as well as the wider Australian community.
The Yarndi Bursary is now open. Applications are required to be completed by Friday 25 June, 2021. Interviews will be held during the week of Monday 28 June to Friday 2 July, 2021, the final week of Autumn Term. We welcome all families who are Aboriginal or Torres Straight with a child currently in Year 6 to apply. If you need assistance in completing the application, please contact our College Office Enrolments Officer.
Brother Pat Kelly Middle School Academic Scholarship
The Brother Pat Kelly Middle School Academic Scholarship is awarded to a student commencing Year Seven at the College. This award is presented in honour of the memory of Brother Pat Kelly C.F.C. who advocated Catholic Education in Western Australia throughout his life, particularly in the spirit of Edmund Rice. Applicants are required to sit a scholarship test, which assesses their skills in analysis, comprehension, interpretation and reasoning.
The Scholarship will offer the successful applicant payment of the Tuition Fee component of the Family Fees and Charges in their Middle School years (Years 7 to 9). The Scholarship Selection Test (SST) will be conducted through Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) and will take place at the College on Friday 30 April at 9.00am.
