Celebrating LIFE Week at Holy Cross College – Having Life to the Full

This past week at Holy Cross College, we have truly lived out our College motto: Life to the Full. LIFE Week has been a vibrant celebration of our holistic approach to education, embracing the pillars of Learning, Inter-relationships, Faith, and Enrichment. From Kindergarten through to Year 11, every student has been immersed in experiences that have nurtured their growth, connection, and joy.

Throughout the week, our students engaged in a wide range of activities designed to inspire and challenge them. Camps and retreats for Years 5, 6, 8, and 11 provided powerful opportunities for reflection, team-building, and spiritual development. The feedback from these events has been overwhelmingly positive, with students returning enriched, empowered, and deeply connected to their peers and their own personal journey.

In our Junior School, LIFE Week was brought to life through engaging incursions and excursions, hands-on learning, and joyful classroom experiences. These moments were made even more special thanks to the incredible support of our parents and caregivers. Your commitment to following schedules, assisting in classrooms, and being present for your children’s learning has been invaluable. Thank you for partnering with us to make this week such a success.

As we journey through the Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church—a time of renewal, hope, and grace—we are reminded of the call to embrace life with open hearts. The Jubilee invites us to rediscover the joy of the Gospel and to live with gratitude and generosity. LIFE Week has been a living expression of this call. Our students have experienced transformation, connection, and celebration—truly having Life to the Full.

Thank you to all staff, students, and families for making LIFE Week a powerful and memorable experience. May we continue to walk together on our collective journeys of transformation.
