Principal’s Blog – Mr Albert Borrello

As we approach the end of another vibrant year at Holy Cross College, I want to extend my thanks to all our parents and families for your incredible engagement with our end-of-year events. Your presence and support truly enrich our community and make these celebrations meaningful.

We continue to have Life to the Full right up until the end of the school year! This year has been a remarkable ‘Journey of Transformation’, and recent events have reminded us of the depth and richness of our community spirit. One of the highlights was our Visual Art Exhibition, which showcased the extraordinary creativity and talent of our students. Each piece reflected not only artistic skill but also the transformative power of learning and imagination. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff who worked tirelessly to curate and present this exhibition. It was a testament to the flourishing artistic spirit within our College. Congratulations to all our award winners who have been recognised for their achievements and contributions. Your hard work and commitment are deeply valued and celebrated as part of your own journey of growth.

Looking ahead, we are excited for our Annual Celebration Evening next week, a special occasion to come together as a community and reflect on a year where we honoured our Faith Patron, Irene McCormack. This evening will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the many successes and milestones of 2025 and to give thanks for the ways we have embraced our LIFE in 2025.

To our Year 11 students, we wish you all the best as you continue your exams. We also keep our Year 10 students in our prayers as they prepare for their exams in Week 8. And to our Year 12s, congratulations on completing your WACE exams! We are so proud of you and wish you every success as you step into the next chapter of your journey.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we continue to nurture a community where faith and learning flourish; where every student is empowered to have Life to the Full.
