A Prayer of Dance and Devotion

Lord, as we step onto the dance floor of life, we ask for your guidance and grace. Just as a skilled dancer follows the lead of the music, help us to follow the rhythm of your will in our lives. Let our every step be a reflection of your love, grace, and truth.

We pray for strength and endurance, like the dancers who practice tirelessly to perfect their art. In the face of challenges and obstacles, may we keep dancing with unwavering faith, knowing that you are our greatest partner in this journey.

Lord, we also lift up those who may feel like they are stumbling or out of step in their lives. Just as a dance instructor offers patient guidance, may we extend love and support to those who need it most, helping them find their rhythm and confidence in you.

In the grand choreography of life, we acknowledge that there are moments of celebration and moments of sorrow. We ask for the wisdom to know when to dance with exuberance and when to dance with humility and compassion.

Amen.

Dance Showcase

Dance is a source of inspiration. It sparks creativity and innovation. It challenges us to push the boundaries of what we think is possible. They remind us that the human body is capable of extraordinary feats of expression and athleticism. This was exactly what was witnessed by all on Thursday night.

First and foremost, I want to extend my congratulations to the dancers who graced the stage. Your performances were nothing short of outstanding. Each movement, each step, each expression painted a vivid picture of the emotions you wanted to convey. Your hard work, countless hours of practice, and unwavering commitment to your craft were evident in every performance.

I would like to acknowledge Ms Pratt, who has guided and nurtured these incredible talents. Your dedication and expertise have not only shaped these dancers but have also played a pivotal role in making the performance a success. Your passion for dance has not only created exceptional performers but also lifelong lovers of this beautiful art form. Many other staff have supported the talents on the evening and I thank them very much for their time and efforts.

ACC Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to the Secondary ACC Athletics team who competed on Tuesday at the Western Australian Athletics Stadium. The overall result was 8th place for the College; however, the girls came in second. A big thank you to the students for their support of their school and for attending the early morning training sessions. The event would not have been able to proceed without the time and efforts of Mr Leigh Willison and the PE team. Thank you so much.

Ozanam Feast Day
Students in Ozanam celebrated their feast day on Wednesday this week. Thanks to Mr Bull, Deputy Principal of Faith, for his organisation of the morning liturgy and his thoughtful reflection. The pizza lunch was enjoyed by all, and I would like to thank Mr Spencer and Mrs Bui for their organisation of the day’s events, including the staff morning tea; it was delightful.
